Basic Sequence 1

  • Begin in choon bi
  • Step out in a front stance down block (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a fighting stance (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a horse stance (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a cat stance (right leg forward)
  • Turn into a front stance down block (left leg forward, facing the back) (kihap on this movement)
  • Step forward into a fighting stance (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a horse stance (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a cat stance (right leg forward)
  • Turn into a front stance down block (left leg forward, facing the front) (kihap on this movement)
  • Step back to choon bi

Basic Sequence 2

  • Begin in choon bi
  • Step out in a front stance down block (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a front stance straight punch (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a back stance suto (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a front stance twin fist block (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a back stance high block (left leg forward)
  • Shift into a front stance reverse punch - DO NOT STEP (left leg forward)
  • Turn into a fighting stance (right leg forward, facing the back) (kihap on this movement)
  • Throw an in-place jab - DO NOT STEP (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a front stance straight punch (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a back stance suto (right leg forward)
  • Step forward into a front stance twin fist block (left leg forward)
  • Step forward into a back stance high block (right leg forward)
  • Shift into a front stance reverse punch - DO NOT STEP (right leg forward)
  • Turn into a fighting stance (left leg forward, facing the front) (kihap on this movement)
  • Step back to choon bi

  • Begin in choon bi
  • Step out in a fighting stance (left leg forward)
  • Throw a rear leg snap kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with right leg forward)
  • Throw a rear leg roundhouse kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with left leg forward)
  • Throw a rear leg side kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with right leg forward)
  • Throw a step-behind side kick. As you re-chamber the kicking leg, land facing the back in a fighting stance (ending with left leg forward, facing the back) (kihap on this movement)
  • Throw a rear leg snap kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with right leg forward)
  • Throw a rear leg roundhouse kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with left leg forward)
  • Throw a rear leg side kick (kicking foot sets down in front) (ending with right leg forward)
